My photography captures the coastal wildlife and landscapes surrounding my Terra Ceia Island home and other favorite locations.
The style of my art photography has developed from my experience as a photojournalist. I compose and edit mostly in camera, utilizing natural light. The images are sized and cropped before making digital prints, which I mount, mat and frame in my home studio.
With my carpentry skills, I custom build each frame with wood salvaged from old houses, docks, fencing or live-edge lumber. The boards are weathered naturally, milled to size and sealed to highlight their character, resulting in a unique frame complementing the image it showcases.
Connected to Water is the name of my studio and the theme of my artworks.
